Grant Allocation Forumula

EPA is announcing potential changes to the grant allocation formula it uses to award implementation grants under the Beaches Environmental Assessment and Coastal Health (BEACH) Act. EPA expects any changes to the formula would become effective in 2010.

2008 Beach Grants Announcements

EPA is making $9.75 million in grants available in 2008 to eligible states to protect public health at the Nation's beaches. These grants help coastal and Great Lakes states implement programs to monitor water quality at the beach and to notify the public when water quality problems exist.
