Circular Letter No. 508

June 28, 2002

TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: Rider Requisitions for GAO Principles of Federal Appropriations Law, Vol. V

The Government Printing Office (GPO) is now accepting rider orders for Volume V of the General Accounting Office's (GAO) Principles of Federal Appropriations Law, second edition. The GAO's description of this publication follows:

Volume V of Principles of Federal Appropriations Law, second edition, also known as "The Red Book," will consist of a comprehensive index and tables of authority covering all of the preceding four volumes. Volume V completes the second edition of GAO's Principles of Federal Appropriations Law.

The estimated rider rate of this perfect-bound publication is $3 each (note that this applies to single destination, local delivery orders only. Mailing costs, if incurred, will comprise an additional charge.) Please forward your requisition (Standard Form 1) to GPO by August 1, 2002. Be sure to specify GPO Jacket Number 488-787 and GAO Requisition Number 2-00061 on your requisition. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork.

In compiling your agency's total order, GAO suggests that you take into consideration the needs of legal offices, finance offices, contracting offices, libraries, Inspector General offices, field and regional offices, and any other elements of your agency that might use this publication.

If you have any questions, or require additional information, please contact your GPO Account Representative or call the Departmental Account Representative Division on 202-512-0238.

Sincerely,

JIM BRADLEY
Director, Customer Services
