Title: Paving the Way to a "Greener" Campus: Alternative Paving Materials for Pollution Control and Aesthetic Appeal
Heidelberg College students will develop a cost-effective and sustainable design for paved parking areas. Paved areas contribute to the pollution of nearby water sources by increasing runoff, which includes toxins from vehicle use. The design will reduce contaminating runoff and incorporate recycled materials.
