Waste Programs

Waste Programs address issues of waste from many different sources. They include non-hazardous wastes from residential, industrial, and commercial sources, and hazardous waste regulated by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Non-hazardous waste include items like: household wastes, municipal solid wastes (trash/garbage), used tires, batteries, used oil, lead-based paints and many other common items. Links listed below and on the national pages provide information on waste reduction programs and recycling programs.
