- Our agency, along with all other federal agencies, is issuing new ID media to employees and contractors as required by Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), "Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors." We expect to complete issuance of the new ID media, or Personal Identity Identification (PIV) cards, by the end of calendar year 2009. The new PIV cards will enhance security at all FAA facilities.
