Policy & Legislation
The Office of Freight Management and Operations works closely with other FHWA offices and with other parts of the Department to conduct policy studies and to propose and implement legislation affecting highway freight transportation. The Report includes detailed recommendations for creating and sustaining a pre-eminent surface transportation system in the United States.
