By law, Population Census in Cambodia is to be conducted once in ten years. The Population Census 2008 was done on 03 May 2008 and the preliminary result of the census is scheduled to release on September, 2008 more... Update on population census 2008.
CAMBODIA DEMOGRAPHIC AND HEALTH SURVEY 2005
The National Institute of Statistics of Ministry of Planning and the National Institute of Public Health of Ministry of Health released the 2005 Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey (CDHS) which show significant improvements in child survival, total fertility and maternal and child health in the past five years.
The first time after many decades, Cambodia now has an updated life table. Cambodian is expected to have a longer life.
CAMBODIA SOCIO-ECONOMICS SURVEY 2003-04 (CSES 2003-04)
The result of Cambodia Socio-Economic Survey 2003-04 provided statistics information such as demography, economically active population, migration, crop production, education, health housing condition, possession of durable goods and time use.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for all items for December 2007 is 134.57 an increase by 0.50% on the November 2007 index. The inflation rate for December 2007, the change in the CPI from the same month last year, was 10.79%
CAMBODIA INTER-CENSAL POPULATION SURVEY 2004 (CIPS)
The Cambodia Inter-Censal Population Survey 2004 (CIPS) is updated information on population characteristics, household facilities and amenities. The CIPS found that population in regular household are 12,824 thousand, labor force participation rate are 65.5 percent and adult literacy rate are 73.6 percent.
AGREED CAMBODIA AREA NAME (Province, District, Commune, Village) in English and Khmer The area name of Cambodia is available down to village level. ADMINISTRATIVE AND HEALTH FACILITY MAPPING National Institute of Statistics with the assistances of UNPFA and WFP, has officially announced the Administrative and Health Facility Mapping outcome on 03 September 2004. The result contains GIS location of health facilities and administrative offices in Cambodia. Basic information on health facilities is also available from the system.
