• Rural primary care clinics with minimum of two providers were recruited
  • None had pre-existing electronic health records
• Eighteen clinics randomly assigned to two groups
  • Early implementation (launch in year 1)
  • Delayed implementation (launch in year 2)
    • Post-launch, 2 clinics closed
