Mr. Gordon Brooks, Director Nebraska Safety Center Mine Safety and Health Program Nebraska Safety Center University of Nebraska at Kearney West Center Building, Ste. E200 Kearney, NE 68849-4550 The Nebraska Safety Center, located on the University of Nebraska campus at Kearney provides mine health and safety training classes and site specific safety consultations for the mining operations and miners in the State of Nebraska. The goal of the Nebraska Mine Safety and Health Program is to reach all the miners in Nebraska not receiving training to ensure that they have the opportunity to receive effective safety and health training that reduces the number of mining fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to the occupation of mining.
