The Mid South Area Safety, Health, and Environmental Office developed the Location Safety, Health, and Environment Program Management Guide for use by Location Administrative Officers (LAO's) and provides the following services:
- A basic overview of 30 programs, subject and tasks that the LAO normally must be involved in.
- An easy to use reference tool, listing ARS Manual 230 references, and pertinent OSHA and EPA directives.
- Where practical provides practical implementation suggestions in plain language.
- Provides the LAO a place to record and document location procedures for specific programs, subjects, and tasks.
