The Chavez Building is a nine-story, 171,965 square foot facility that adjoins the Golden Triangle neighborhood. Designed by the architectural firm of Murata Outland Associates, Inc., it was constructed in 1983.

The Chavez Building's attractiveness is complimented by its generous setback, the public art program, and the pedestrian-oriented covered arcade along the west elevation. Mature trees, formal planting beds, travertine, and granite stone complete the structure's image.Tenants enjoy over 20 miles of groomed and shaded walking paths along the heavily wooded banks of Cherry Creek.

Over 900 employees from 11 federal agencies occupy this facility. These agencies provide extensive services to the surrounding community as well as other city, county, state and national communities.
