All goods and products imported into Mexico must comply with applicable technical regulations and labeling requirements published by the Mexican Government in the Diario Oficial de la Federacion (Official Gazette) - the Mexican equivalent of the US Federal Register. US Commercial Service Mexico Specialists provide you with a monthly report of draft and final technical regulations and standards.

Five different lists are included to assist U.S. exporters, companies, and other parties, interested in:

  • Draft technical regulations (NOMs) that are still in the comment period.

  • Technical regulations (NOMs) that have been published in final form as well as responses to

    comments on draft technical regulations.

  • Draft standards (NMXs), the comment period of which is still open.

  • Enacted standards (NMXs).

  • Cancelled technical regulations and standards.
