EPA Regional Headquarters Building![]() ![]() ![]() 1595 Wynkoop Street The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region Eight (8) Headquarters building, comprised of 305,000 square foot, is located in the Lower Downtown Historic District in downtown Denver adjacent to Union Station. The structure matches the brick architecture of the Historic District area. The interior features a sunlight-filled glass atrium rising through the entire nine-story height. Building amenities include 226 interior parking spaces and retail. The building is designed to use 1/3 less energy and water than a building of similar size - and is expected to receive the first Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating for a new building in downtown Denver.
