The Office of Financial Management (OFM) formulates and prescribes Department-wide financial management, accounting, fiscal policies, procedures, and controls, as well as provides assistance to Department components in its implementation. OFM ensures the compliance with all laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines regarding these components. OFM also develops and maintains a Departmental financial system Commerce Business Systems (CBS). OFM provides quality financial information, services, and systems to meet related needs of Commerce's program managers and administrators.
