The partnership between GSA and the Department of Defense, DoD, works well. Through this relationship, the Department of Defense procures the highest quality products and services it needs in a timely and cost effective manner. To ensure that GSA continues to meet the needs and demands of DoD well into the 21st Century, the two agencies worked closely together to develop new guidelines to facilitate the procurement process.

DoD and GSA have entered into an agreement that seeks to promote the use of GSA's procurement schedules and professional services.
