NOVEMBER 3, 2008 - Only 3 days to go until the Ambassador's IPR Roundtable opens in Beijing.

On-line registration has closed.   A small number of registrants have not finalized their registration by completing payment.  If you are one, you should complete payment as soon as possible to guarantee your participation.   If you did not previously download any payment option form at the rates previously available for specified periods, please download any of the CURRENT forms for payment.  It may be too late to accept Bank Transfers within China but the hotel will advise directly.

If the last resort is for you to pay at the door, we ask you to come before the registration begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, or at 7:45 am on Friday, November 7. 

In addition, we may have a limited number of walk-in spots available at $308 on November 6.  

If interested, please download and complete the attached "Wait List" form and fax it to the Hyatt. You will be put on a first-come, first-serve list and subsequently advised if you can or can not be accommodated.   

We ask that you also send the wait list form with your credit card payment form.  If you clear the wait list, we recommend that you pay before November 6 to ensure your participation.

We regret we cannot accept partial payment for the IPR Roundtable sessions on November 7th if you choose not to attend the Opening Reception and premiere of the James Bond movie (Quantum of Solace) on November 6. 

The U.S. Embassy retains final approval over all registrations

Acceptance of any payment via domestic (Chinese) or foreign credit cards is conditional upon authorization provided by the credit card issuer to the Grand Hyatt Hotel when processed.  The Hotel will provide confirmation of payment.

WAIT LIST FORM - Click to download a faxable registration form to send to the Grand Hyatt.  Submit it with your payment form.  If you have a foreign credit card and you clear the wait list, your payment can be processed without your having to come to the Grand Hyatt Hotel's front desk. 

If you have a domestic Chinese bank credit card and you are advised that you have cleared the wait list, please bring the card to the hotel between November 3-5 to confirm your participation.  If notified on November 6th that you have cleared the wait list, please bring your credit card to the hotel's front desk before 12:00 noon or pay at the IPR Roundtable registration desk between 3:00-4:00 p.m.

PAYMENT FORMS - The current rate as of November 1st is US$308

Unless you registered on-line by October 31 and made specific arrangements for on-site payment on November 6, the participation is now $308. 

International participants need to use the proper Billing Authorization form.  Please ONLY click on the form marked "Foreign (not domestic Chinese) Credit Card"

      Participants registering in China can use:

       1) Cash

       2) Domestic Credit Card

        A downloadable Hotel Reservation Form has also been supplied by the Grand Hyatt Beijing for your convenience.

Your registration is not complete until your payment is received and confirmed.
