Public service ads (PSAs) graphically convey key messages about the 2002 Economic Census: The Economic Census is important . . . Numbers we use every day depend on your response . . . Answer the Economic Census.

 

PSAs for use after February 12 note that the forms are "past due" and emphasize "It all comes down to you". There are three different graphic themes. Use the one that you think will appeal most to your audience, or use different ones in different locations.

Use the graphic format that best meets your needs: tiff - Tagged Image File Format • jpg1 - composed for screen display (72 dpi) • jpg2 - composed for printing • pdf1 - pdf with rasterized graphics. • pdf2 - pdf with vector graphics where PSA size can be continuously adjusted to fit available column widths.

The smallest black-and-white ad in each of the three themes above has no body copy, so can be used as a graphic with an article about the 2002 Economic Census. The American FactFinder system at www.census.gov allows you to create US-by-state or state-by-county maps for any of four variables for any of 17 sectors from the 1997 Economic Census. Promote the Economic Census in your workplace -- with posters

Libraries - Associations - Business Development Centers - Government Agencies

If business people visit your workplace, show them you support the Economic Census by displaying a poster. Each of the PSA themes shown above has a high resolution version, with or without body copy, proportioned for printing on 8 1/2 by 11" or 11 x 17" paper. A fifth theme features a chart graphic and the Greenspan quote.
