Apple site to download the Quicktime player.
Configuring Quicktime to stream behind a firewall
- Open the QuickTime Settings control panel.
- Choose Streaming Transport from the pull-down menu and select "Use HTTP, Port ID 80"
- If your firewall is blocking direct network access, then you will need to use a proxy
server. You can tell QuickTime about your proxy servers by opening the Streaming Proxy
pull-down menu. See the Apple site for more detail
on proxy server settings.
