MSI Program Discontinued

Thank you for inquiring about the ONEDOT Minority Serving Institutions Internship Program. Unfortunately, 2007 was the last year for the ONEDOT Minority Serving Institutions Internship Program. Various modal administrations within the Department host their own internship programs, offering a wide variety of opportunities for students attending all institutions of higher education.

Please let us recommend that you visit the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG) website. The interns not only work in FHWA, but they are assigned throughout DOT in other modes as well.  You may also visit the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) MSI Internship Program website to find out more about their program.

You may also visit the Department of Transportation website and refer to the modal administration of your choice and inquire about their programs as well.
