The data contained in this web site are derived from national ITS Deployment Tracking surveys conducted in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Surveys were distributed to agencies in 108 metropolitan areas in 2004 and 2006 and to 78 metropolitan areas in 2005. The data gathered in the survey include information on the characteristics and extent of deployment of various ITS technologies. In addition to deployment data, the surveys gather information on interagency integration. The web site supports on-line searching of the database as well as access to reports covering deployment in metropolitan areas and agencies.
