U.S. Census Bureau and Cheyenne River
Reservation officials will announce the winners
of an art contest promoting the 2006 Census Test,
which began field activities this year. The Census
Bureau will use the grand-prize winning artwork
to create posters based on the two contest themes:
“Everybody Counts” and “Respect
Privacy.” The grand-prize winners of the contest,
open to K-12 students, will be presented with U.S.
savings bonds and other prizes at the public awards
ceremony. This art contest is part of 2006 Census
