Take Your Child
to Work Day 2008

The Beltsville Agricultural Research Center celebrated "Take Your Child to Work Day" on April 24th. In support of this national celebration, the Beltsville Area invited its employees to bring their school aged child to work and participate in the half day program before spending the rest of the day at their parent's worksite.

The purpose of TYCTWD is to introduce our children, ages 6 to 15, to the vital public services that their parents provide in support of the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center's mission and to encourage future careers in the federal government. Our program is specifically designed to enhance their interests in the many opportunities that exist as an employee at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center.
