Data Elements
In the future, this page will allow users to find important data elements used in EPA or partner systems as well as data elements associated with EPA data standards. Please check the System of Registries Home Page under Future Planning at Future Plans for the development schedule.
The following use cases are projected for the future search function for data elements:
- General User chooses to see if there are any matching or similar data elements to the one they would like to build
- General User knows of a specific data element they would like to find
- General User chooses to search for a common meaning
The following use cases are projected for the future retrieval function for data elements:
- General User requests the system to generate a report for the data elements
- Report types available for download include: ad hoc, data standards, data standards conformance, steward administration (for stewards and above), and system developer
- General User specifies filter criteria for the report type chosen
- General User selects to download the report. Report formats for download include the following types: XLS (Excel) and CSV.
