At the June 2004 U.S.-EU Summit, President Bush, European Commission President Romano Prodi, Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern, Secretary of Commerce Evans, and Secretary of State Powell challenged stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic to engage in a discussion of concrete ideas on how to further transatlantic economic integration, spur innovation and job creation, and better realize the competitive potential of our economies and enterprises. We invite you to provide perspective on the opportunities and challenges in the transatlantic marketplace. U.S. government agencies will synthesize comments into their recommendations to U.S. leaders prior to the 2005 U.S.–EU Summit.

Anyone interested in information on attending the session in Washington on October 28th should contact Dan Fogarty at FogartyDJ@state.gov  or call (202) 647-3207. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, so please inquire soon.
