Summary: | Vihn Quac Tang, a former mechanic with BF Goodrich, Everett, WA, was fined by a U.S. District Court judge in Seattle for falsifying an aviation airframe and power plant (A&P) mechanic's certificate. Tang altered a photocopy of a certificate belonging to an actual A&P mechanic to show that he was the certificate holder, using the certificate to extend his employment and obtain a wage increase. Tang was fined and placed on probation. OIG investigated the case. |
