Summary:This report presents our unqualified opinion on the DOT Consolidated Balance Sheet, Statement of Net Cost, Statement of Changes in Net Position, Statement of Budgetary Resources, and Statement of Financing as of, and for the year ended, September 30, 1999. These Consolidated Financial Statements show DOT and its Operating Administrations had assets of $76 billion, liabilities of $30 billion, operating costs of $42 billion, and total budget authority of $57 billion.
