REACH Services
The European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) regulation places responsibility on manufacturers, importers, and downstream users to register the chemicals in products that are sold in the EU. REACH requires industry to demonstrate the safety of these chemicals with test data and exposure scenario modeling. Chemicals that have an impact on reproductive and developmental health at certain doses get special attention. Finally, REACH also mandates that industry communicate any hazards or risks throughout the supply chain.
Since 2001, Tetra Tech has assisted more than 2,000 companies in complying with EU environmental regulations, 
including REACH, Restrictions on the Uses of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS), and the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive (ELV). We rapidly conduct a substance inventory with your supply chain, compile this information into a database, and fill the gaps needed for REACH compliance. By using existing data, we substantially lower your costs for REACH compliance because you do not need to reinvent the wheel.
- REACH Compliance Database Implementations: The mountain of substance data that is generated in the course of REACH compliance requires an intelligent solution for data management. Our approach is to work with software to manage your data through a combination of automation and expert analysis.
