Title:Georgia Tester Sentenced for Falsifying CDL Test Results

Summary:Grady D. Saffles, a commercial driver’s license (CDL) tester for America’s Driving Force in Forest Park, GA, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Atlanta for falsifying CDL test results, enabling 26 CDL applicants who did not take the skills portion of the test to become licensed. Saffles was sentenced to 6 months’ home confinement, 5 years’ probation, and 200 hours’ community service. This resulted from a joint investigation with the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety and assistance from FMCSA.
