DOT Recognized by SBA for Providing Regulatory Enforcement and Compliance Assistance

DOT was recently recognized by the Small Business Administration''s (SBA) National Ombudsman as one of six federal agencies who have provided extraordinary responsiveness and service to the small business community dealing with regulatory enforcement issues. Nicholas N. Owens, the SBA''s National Ombudsman praised the work of DOT and the other five agencies for showing a "strong commitment to regulatory fairness," and assisting his office in supporting the interests of the small business community.
