| Summary: | We will initiate an audit of procurement practices by the National Transportation Safety Board to determine whether it obtains goods and services at fair and reasonable prices. Specifically, we will review the adequacy of internal controls for (1) using Government purchase and travel cards, (2) complying with Federal acquisition regulations, (3) recording and accounting for procurements, (4) authorizing procurements and safeguarding budgetary resources, and (5) complying with the Prompt Payment Act. |
