Title:Four Plead Guilty in Hours-of-Service Concealment Scheme

Summary:Northern Gas Transport, Inc. (NGT), Lyndonville, VT, and three of its officials, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court, in Rutland, VT, to charges related to falsifying drivers logbooks. NGT and Bruce Grant, the company owner and president, pleaded guilty to conspiring to make false statements and obstructing justice during a 1999 Federal compliance review. Safety Manager Brad Grant pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice, and Chief Dispatcher Gary Camberlain pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors of aiding NGT in its failure to comply with a DOT requirement to produce records. Sentencing has not been scheduled.
