Title:Landscaping Company Owner Pleads Guilty to Falsifying Federal Contract Payrolls

Summary:Steven Salke, former owner of Aztec Landscape Construction, in Woodland Hills, CA, was charged and pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, CA, for making false statements on certified payrolls for Federally funded highway projects in violation of the Davis-Bacon Act. OIG investigated this case with the FBI and the Department of Labor’s OIG.
