Summary: | On March 2, Terry Crockett, ownerloperator of Terry F. Crockett Architects (a certified
DBE), pled guilty in U. S. District Court in Philadelphia to charges related to a corruption scheme involving FAA-regulated airport advertising contracts at Philadelphia International Airport. Crockett was one of four people indicted in February on charges of conspiracy, mail fraud, and wire fraud in a corruption scheme involving approximately $15 million in FAA-regulated concession contracts awarded by the City of Philadelphia for advertising at the airport. Crockett admitted to using his company as a conduit for $30,000 in contributions to a political action committee which supported, among others, the mayor of Philadelphia. No sentencing date has been set. This continuing investigation is being conducted jointly with the FBI. |
