Title:Former Trucking Company Owner Pleads Guilty in Logbook Falsification Case

Summary:On December 19, Ronald Wolf, former owner/operator of RBL Enterprises, Inc., Port Treverton, PA, pled guilty in U.S. District Court in Harrisburg, PA to misprision of a felony. Wolf admitted to aiding and abetting the falsification of commercial truck drivers' logbooks on a daily basis between 2001 and 2004, thereby causing company drivers to exceed the maximum daily driving hours allowed under FMCSA regulations. Wolf also admitted to instructing drivers to destroy supporting documents that contradicted the false logbooks. To date, eight of nine RBL drivers charged have been sentenced. Wolf is scheduled for sentencing in March 2006. The investigation was conducted jointly with FMCSA.
