| Summary: | SS Supply Trucking, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT and its owner, Mr. Bret Steel, were sentenced in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City to 24 months probation each and ordered to pay a total of $6,000 in fines and assessments for making false statements in connection with daily logbooks which concealed "hours-of-service" violations. Steel and SS Supply Trucking, Inc. had pled guilty to the charge on November 4, 2004. This investigation was conducted jointly with the FBI. |
