| Summary: | Anna Lange, a former Program Assistant with the Wisconsin Division of FHWA pled guilty in U.S. District Court, Madison, WI to embezzlement charges. On September 15, 2004 Lange was indicted for embezzling a total of $158,000 in FHWA funds through unauthorized use of convenience checks and a Government purchase card between April 1999 and November 2003. Lange’s employment with FHWA was terminated in December 2003. Sentencing is scheduled for February 24, 2005. |
