IET-254 Emerging Information Systems - Development and application of information technologies, database management systems, multimedia applications, info retrieval, electronic publishing, programming techniques, internet applications, networking, and hand-held/wireless device applications.

IET-312 Machine Vision - Addresses the development and application of robotics, machine vision, image processing, and pattern recognition technology across the scope of Society interests.

IET-318 Mechatronics and Biorobotics - Involved with the development and application of mechatronics, biorobotics and flexible automation with respect to agriculture, food and biological systems.

IET-348 Electromagnetics and Spectroscopy - Maintains contact with scientific developments in sonic, ultrasonics, electromagnetics, spectroscopy, and particle radiation for applications in engineering for agriculture and biological systems.

IET-353 Instrumentation & Controls - Concerns instrumentation and controls for application in engineering research and production.

IET-433 Electrical Utilization & Energy Apps - Addresses electrotechnology related to agriculture energy efficiency, electrical wiring systems, and electrical utility programs.

IET-433/1 ASABE-IES Ag Lighting Group - Addresses application of agricultural lighting systems.

IET-433/2 Electric Fence Controller - To provide Standards, Engineering Practices and other information pertinent to electric fence controllers and to sponsor an ASABE technical session when applicable for continuing education in this area.

M-163 Gale A. Holloway Professional Development Award - Seeks to encourage and recognize outstanding leadership and active involvement in ASABE for early career members. The award acknowledges and perpetuates Gale Holloway's dedication to assisting ASABE Preprofessionals and early career members to become active members and work diligently to enhance the quality of meetings, technical information and professional development within ASABE at both the national and section levels.

M-164 Yoerger Preprofessional Engineer of the Year Award - Seeks to encourage and recognize annually outstanding leadership and active involvement in ASABE for an engineering undergraduate student member in the United States and Canada.

M-170 Historic Commemoration - Encourages the recognition cooperation of significant agricultural engineering developments and the related publicity. Reviews and selects recipients of the Awards of ASABE Landmarks.

Membership Development Council - The Membership Development Council promotes the education, professional development, and professional registration of the members.

Meetings Council - The Meetings Council promotes and manages the meetings and conferences in which the Society is involved.

Nominating Committee 2008 - Elected by letter ballot of ASABE membership - responsible for nominating candidates for trustees, President-elect, and nominating committee - submits report during the year indicated. Responsible to the ASABE membership.

P-120 Student Organizations - The Student Organizations Committee is to promote and support student organizations and their professional development activities.

P-121 G.B. Gunlogson Student Environ Design Competition - The Environmental Stduent Design Competition Award recognizes excellence in the design of environmental systems, specifically systems that direct and treat efficient such that soil, water, and air quality are maintained.

P-122 Boyd-Scott Graduate Research Award - The Boyd-Scott Graduate Student Research Award recognizes excellence in the conduct and presentation of research to build the knowledge base needed by engineers who design equipment, facilities and processes for the sustainable operation of biological systems.

P-123 Student Paper Competition (K.K. Barnes) - Screens student paper entries and selects three entries for K.K. Barnes oral competition held at the ASABE Annual International Meeting. This committee reports to P-120 Student Organizations Committee.

P-124 AGCO National Student Design Competition - Reviews papers submitted, selects three top student design finalists for the oral portion of the competition held during the ASABE Annual International Meeting. This committee reports to P-120 Student Organizations Committee.

P-125 AEM Student Trophies Competition - Evaluates student branch annual reports and recommends top branches to receive AEM trophies. This committee reports to P-120 Student Organizations Committee.

P-126 1/4 Scale Tractor Design Competition - To organize and carry out the student 1/4 Scale Tractor Design Competition including the 1/4 scale tractor pull and related presentations at the Annual Meeting of ASABE. Reports to P-120 Student Organizations Committee.

P-127 Robotics Student Design Competition - The purpose of this committee oversees the promotion, organization and evaluation of the Robotics Competition held at the Annual International Meetings of ASABE. The committee reports to P-120 Student Organizations.

P-511 Refereed Publications - Guides the activities related to peer review and publication policy for the publication of the Transactions of the ASABE, Applied Engineering in Agr, Journal of Agr Safety & Health, and other publications as directed by the Publications Council.

P-513 Resource Editorial Board - Assists the headquarters publications staff in determining what is required by readers of membership publications and recommends how the publications can better serve the members.
