SUBJECT: Rider requisitions for the revised edition of the Guide to Federal Publishing - What every Federal publisher should know about the publishing process

A group of Federal publishers and printing officers, with the collaboration of staff from the Joint Committee on Printing and the Government Printing Office (GPO), has revised the subject publication as a guide to printing and publishing within the Federal government. The Guide identifies the publishing team, covers the importance of planning, and outlines resources (including pertinent laws and regulations, available technologies, and distribution channels).

The Guide will be 8 1/2 x 11 inches, saddle stitched, and comprise approximately 48 pages. The estimated per-copy price is $1.50. (Please note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.)

To take advantage of this rider rate, forward your requisitions (Standard Form 1) to GPO by April 30, 2001, and be sure to include GPO Jacket Number 185-855 on your requisition. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork to GPO.
