TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: New "For Sale" Line for GPO Superintendent of Documents Sales Titles

The "For sale by the Superintendent of Documents" line is customarily inserted in all titles that have been selected by GPO's Superintendent of Documents (SuDocs) for sale to the public. Because of the growth in telephone, fax, and Internet orders received by SuDocs Sales, new language has been developed for this insert. Effective immediately, please use the following SuDocs sale line in all "set" and electronic (disk) copy furnished to GPO. This new wording should also be used in all work submitted and accomplished under direct-deal contracts.
