TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government
SUBJECT: GPO Surcharges Applied to Commercially Procured Work
This letter is to modify our November 17, 1994, removal of the ceiling on our administrative charge applied to commercially procured work. Effective April 1, 1995, the charges applied are as follows:
Work classified as printing and binding, 6 percent, with a limit of $15,000 per jacket, purchase order, or print order.
Rush work classified as printing and binding, 9 percent, with a limit of $20,000 per jacket, purchase order, or print order.
The percentage charged for expedited service on rush work will only be applied when authorized by the ordering agency. The $5 flat charge, which replaced our $10 minimum charge earlier, will remain in effect for all orders.
Inquiries concerning this letter should be directed to your Account Representative or local Regional Manager.
Sincerely,
ROBERT G. COX
Superintendent,
