Mowboard/Moldboard Repairs

Printer Friendly Version
Safety and Health are Values!

When cutting bolts out of mowboards (also called a moldboard) on scrapers, dozers, blades or rubber tired dozers (RTD's*) be sure to stand to the side of the bolt. The pressure from the dirt that is built up between the mowboard and the cutting edge can shoot the bolt out like a bullet. Make sure the area is clear of foot traffic. Be aware of your surroundings when in the process of cutting these bolts free.
