| Summary: | As requested in the Conference Report to the Fiscal Year 2000 Department of Transportation and Related Agencies Appropriation Act (PL 106-69), the Department of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) has independently analyzed the finance plan for the Tren Urbano Rail Transit Project (Tren Urbano), San Juan, Puerto Rico. Tren Urbano is a new, fixed-guideway rail transit system in the San Juan, Puerto Rico metropolitan area. Tren Urbano will be approximately 10.7 miles in length, and will have 16 stations along its route. |
