WEEE Directive 

The WEEE Directive's provisions on "financing in respect of WEEE from users other than private households" were amended shortly after the adoption of the original legislation. This amendment was passed in the form of a separate piece of legislation, Directive 2003/108/EC.

The WEEE Directive was also amended in 2008 to allow for involvement of the European Parliament in implementation decisions taken by the European Commission. This amendment can be found here: Directive 2008/34/EC.

RoHS Directive

The RoHS Directive was also amended in 2008 to allow for involvement of the European Parliament in implementation decisions taken by the European Commission (e.g. RoHS exemptions decisions). This amendment can be found here: Directive 2008/35/EC.
