Raytheon Company, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $6,370,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the acquisition that will provide the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) spares of various nomenclatures, National Stock Number (NSN) and Army Part Number (APNs) to support the Patriot Missile Systems deployed by the governments of Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan. Work will be performed in Bedford, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. CIVIL WORKS-NON MILITARY

NATCO Limited Partnership, Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $6,380,000 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging in Morehead City Harbor, N.C. (Ocean Bar) approximately 1,585,000 cubic yards), and Wilmington Harbor, N.C. (Ocean Bar) (approximately 938,000 cubic yards). Work will be performed in Morehead City, N.C. (63.5%) and Wilmington, N.C. (36.5%) and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were seven bids solicited on Sept. 21, 1998, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington, N.C. (DACW54-99-C-0005).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $17,424,116 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for interim contractor support from December 1998 through November 1999 for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) prime mission equipment. For repair of failed components, this contract requires a turn-around-time of 155 days during the first 18 months after basic contract award after which the TAT becomes 65 days for the life of the contract. Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $25,150,995 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for supplies and services to develop, fabricate, test, and flight test the Low Light Level Television system in support of the AC-130H aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 16, 1999. Solicitation issue date was June 18, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 6, 1998. Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems Inc., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $10,759,257 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for test and integration of the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) onto the B-1B aircraft. This effort supports the JASSM engineering and manufacturing development program. Expected contract completion date is May 2002. NAVY

Raytheon TI Systems, Inc., Lewisville, Texas, is being awarded a $25,889,000 ceiling-priced, cost-plus-award-fee/incentive-fee contract to design, develop and test the precision navigation upgrade retrofit kit for the HARM weapons system. This effort is the result of an international agreement between the United States, Germany and Italy to co-develop these enhancements. Work will be performed in Lewisville, Texas (80%), Uberlingen, Germany (10%), Rome, Italy (10%), and is expected to be completed in January 2003.
