ARMY

Raytheon Company, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $6,370,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the acquisition that will provide the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) spares of various nomenclatures, National Stock Number (NSN) and Army Part Number (APNs) to support the Patriot Missile Systems deployed by the governments of Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan. Work will be performed in Bedford, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 13, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., (DAAH01-99-C-0016)

CIVIL WORKS-NON MILITARY

NATCO Limited Partnership, Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $6,380,000 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging in Morehead City Harbor, N.C. (Ocean Bar) approximately 1,585,000 cubic yards), and Wilmington Harbor, N.C. (Ocean Bar) (approximately 938,000 cubic yards). Work will be performed in Morehead City, N.C. (63.5%) and Wilmington, N.C. (36.5%) and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were seven bids solicited on Sept. 21, 1998, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington, N.C. (DACW54-99-C-0005).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $17,424,116 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for interim contractor support from December 1998 through November 1999 for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) prime mission equipment. For repair of failed components, this contract requires a turn-around-time of 155 days during the first 18 months after basic contract award after which the TAT becomes 65 days for the life of the contract. Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $25,150,995 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for supplies and services to develop, fabricate, test, and flight test the Low Light Level Television system in support of the AC-130H aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 16, 1999. Solicitation issue date was June 18, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 6, 1998. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-98-C-0011-P00004).

Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems Inc., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $10,759,257 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for test and integration of the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) onto the B-1B aircraft. This effort supports the JASSM engineering and manufacturing development program. Expected contract completion date is May 2002. NAVY

Raytheon TI Systems, Inc., Lewisville, Texas, is being awarded a $25,889,000 ceiling-priced, cost-plus-award-fee/incentive-fee contract to design, develop and test the precision navigation upgrade retrofit kit for the HARM weapons system. This effort is the result of an international agreement between the United States, Germany and Italy to co-develop these enhancements. Work will be performed in Lewisville, Texas (80%), Uberlingen, Germany (10%), Rome, Italy (10%), and is expected to be completed in January 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.   • Engineering Technology Center Inc., a segment of Analysis and Technology, Inc., North Stonington, Conn., is being awarded a $22,907,684 cost-plus-award-fee completion, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for engineering and analytical services in the areas of program planning and management, shipboard technology research, hardware and machinery development, and component and system test and evaluation. Raytheon Technical Services Co., Las Vegas, Nevada, is being awarded a $15,873,118 fixed-price-award-fee for life cycle contractor support services contract for the family of battlefield mobility/target acquisition training devices, to include the synthetic flight training systems and the synthetic flight research systems (flight simulators), aviation and transportation occupational skills training devices and non-systems training devices. Services will be provided for several U.S. Army commands (97.5%) and for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2.5%) under

Alliant Defense Electronics Systems, Inc., Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $12,270,512 fixed-price-incentive-fee contract to manufacture 3,000 AN/AAR-47 optical sensor upgrade missile warning sets and for related engineering support. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla., and is expected to be completed in May 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Integrated Systems Control, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $6,278,363 indefinite-delivery type contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing for software engineering services, systems engineering, technical and management support of Information System Security (INFOSEC) systems and programs. The Navy INFOSEC systems and programs provide information security capabilities on wide-area and local area networks and individual workstations and portable computers, automated Navy communications security report systems, warehouse equipment tracking, embedded INFOSEC products, secure telephone equipment and revise battlefield electronic communication operating instructions and systems. This contract contains four options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $32,751,054. Alliant Defense Electronics Systems, Inc., Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $5,871,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0055 to exercise an option to procure 1,000 backplane and microprocessor circuit card assemblies for AN/AAR-47 optical sensor upgrade missile warning sets for the U.S. Navy (40.5%) and U.S. Air Force (59.5%). Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla., and is expected to be completed in December 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
