Honor Cordon to Welcome Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense of the Republic of Singapore

Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Tony Tan, of the Republic of Singapore, to the Pentagon at 10:30 a.m. (EST), Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998.

The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media interested in coverage of the arrival ceremony must be at the River Entrance no later than 10:10 a.m. (EST).

Cohen and Tan will sign an Addendum to the 1990 U.S.--Singapore Access Memorandum of Understanding and conduct a joint press conference at 11:15 a.m. (EST) in the Pentagon Briefing Room, Room 2E781. Media without Pentagon credentials interested in coverage of the signing and press conference must be at the Mall Entrance of the Pentagon no later than 10:55.
