Following the regularly scheduled OSD news briefing, retired Army Lt. Gen. Dale Vesser, the deputy special assistant for Gulf War Illnesses, will present the next in a series of public releases of investigations that the office of the special assistant has conducted on potential causes of Gulf War illnesses. Vesser will discuss the environmental report on the effects of oil well fires and the reports of chemical warfare agents by the 11th Marines.
