WHD Can Help

En EspaƱol (In Spanish)

This is a message from the U.S. Department of Labor: Most workers in the United States are entitled to receive at least the federal minimum wage for each hour worked. Most workers should also receive overtime pay if they work over 40 hours in a 7-day week. These laws are enforced by the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division and protect all workers. For help, you can call 1-866-4US-WAGE (1-866-487-9243). All calls are treated confidentially. Employers can learn about federal labor laws on private work and on federal contracts by going to the Wage and Hour Web site at www.wagehour.dol.gov.
