EPA Amends the 2005 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Waste Combustors Final Rule

(3/27/08) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is amending the 2005 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) rule for new and existing hazardous waste combustors. EPA has revised or clarified several compliance and monitoring provisions and has also corrected several omissions and typographical errors. This action will reduce compliance uncertainties and will improve understanding of the final rule requirements.

The rule should be published in the Federal Register within the next two weeks.
