Notes about Decisions

This site contains the Boards decisions. New decisions are typically added to this website on Friday. Indexing, a process which makes a decision available to the search engine, is performed daily.  Despite this frequency, it is possible that the search engine will fail to identify a decision even though it has been posted.  If you are seeking a decision that was issued recently and is not listed in your search results, please double-check the most recent list of decisions that corresponds to the category of the decision your are seeking.

Decisions and other documents on the following pages are available in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. Decisions through May 2007 are also available in Text format, and decisions since May 2007 are also available in HTML format.

The Text and PDF files may be searched, displayed, printed, and downloaded.  When viewing decisions in the Text format, please use the back key on your browser to return to the list of decisions.

The Boards decisions are listed in chronological groupings.  The most recent list of decisions for each decision category may be viewed by clicking on the decision categories below.  At the bottom of each list you will find links to earlier decision lists within the same decision category.

Documents in PDF format include all footnotes.  Documents in Text and HTML format include footnotes identified as [Foot #].  Footnote text will appear at clearly delineated places within the documents.

Searches

All of the Boards decisions may be searched via the search facility below.  Searches may be made in the decision category (or categories) listed in the drop down window.  For example, if you search Rate Cases, all of the results returned will be rate cases.  How to search (including search tips) is explained on the search pages.  The resulting decisions returned from a search may be re-sorted in a number of ways by clicking on the options listed in the center of the blue-gray bar.  Each search option functions like a toggle, switching between ascending and descending sort orders.  For each decision returned from a search, a brief summary is provided which contains the search word(s).  Clicking on the case format(s) will display the decision in HTML or PDF format.
