About Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee

The Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on motor carrier safety programs and motor carrier safety regulations and is comprised of 15 members appointed by the Administrator. The Committee members include representatives of the motor carrier industry, safety advocates, and safety enforcement officials.
